Procedural Nurse

SHFPACT Procedural Nurse works as part of a multidisciplinary clinical care team under supervision of the Clinic Nurse Coordinator to:

  • assist medical officers with the provision of procedures (primarily IUD insertions & removals);
  • provide support for clients during consultations, procedures and follow up recovery period;
  • ensure that facilities and equipment for provision of SHFPACT’s sexual and reproductive health clinic services are clean, well maintained and stocked, preparation and sterilisation of medical equipment according to set infection control guidelines.

This is a casual position working to a roster based on client demand for services. We expect an average of 12 hours work per week to be available.

The position will suit an enrolled nurse or registered nurse looking for part-time hours and a interesting field of work.
