IUD Insertion Services at SHFPACT
SHFPACT offers dedicated IUD clinics staffed by experienced clinicians who specialise in IUD insertion.
Before your insertion, you’ll need to attend a pre-insertion consultation. This appointment ensures that an IUD is the right contraceptive option for you and gives you all the information you need to make an informed decision.
We offer two types of IUD insertion clinics.
Standard Insertion Clinic
Your IUD will be inserted by one of SHFPACT’s highly experienced clinicians in a regular appointment setting.
Training Clinic (Bulk Billed)
This clinic is part of a supervised training program. You will be seen by a fully qualified GP who is completing advanced training in IUD insertion, under the close supervision of an experienced SHFPACT doctor.
There is no consultation fee for this clinic—you only pay for the cost of the IUD device.

All doctors in the training clinic have completed a comprehensive IUD insertion course and are in the final supervised stage of their training.
