Cancellation fees

For Group Support services, the full fee will apply when you make a cancellation no matter how much notice you give us. This includes any 1:1 support that are part of during your Group Support.

For 1:1 Individual Counselling Support, you will only be charged a cancellation fee if you give us less than 2 days notice (48 hours). This is called a short notice cancellation. Short notice cancellation fees are made using the hourly rate of the same support item as would have been used if you had attended the appointment.

If you are using NDIS funding to pay for SoSAFE! Training, there is no cancellation fee. SoSAFE! Training can be rescheduled as many times as you need and will only be billed after you complete the training. However, please let us know you need to reschedule as soon as possible.


Using NDIS funds to pay for your service

When the participant’s NDIS plan is managed by NDIA, SHFPACT will request payment once a service booking has been created and the support has been delivered.  

For self-managed or plan-managed participants, SHFPACT will prepare and send the invoice to a participant’s carer or plan manager after the delivery of the service. In this case, the payment request is not required. 

Prepayment is not available unless SHFPACT has received prior approval in writing from the NDIA.


SHFPACT Training Courses and Programs for professionals

Cancellation fees

If you are unable to attend the program or course you have booked or enrolled in, please let us know as soon as possible. For most programs, we will attempt to reschedule your registration to the next available course, or refund your registration fee.

If you cancel before 14 days of commencement of a course or program, we will refund the full registration fee.

If you cancel before 7 days of a course or program that has limited availability, and we are unable to fill the position, we will refund 50% of the full registration fee.

If you cancel the the 7 days before a course or program that has limited availability, or do not attend the course without any notice, we will not refund the registration fee.

Exceptional circumstances: we may agree to transfer your registration to another available course if you were not able to attend due to exceptional circumstancs. 


Group bookings

Most SHFPACT professional development training courses and programs have a group discount when four (4) or more people attend from the same organisation or workplace. Members, including organisation members, also enjoy discounts on registrations for training courses and programs. Please get in touch with the team to discuss options here.


SHFPACT Clinical Services 

If you are not able to make your scheduled appointment time, we appreciate that you let us know as soon as possible. The Reception team will work to find an alternative appointment time. 

If you do not attend your appointment and do not advise us, we may charge a 'no show' fee.
